Update: Snowflake has been adopted by Stephanie and John in Woodland Hills, CA and is enjoying her new home with her doggie sister Alice, a mini Aussie.
Snowflake is an absolute sweetheart. She’s about 2 years old, loves people and is great with other dogs. Tragically, someone threw acid on her and she has chemical burns on her back (photos of her back will be sent upon request but are not posted here because they are graphic). Her spirit is strong and positive and lively, and her behavior is nothing but full of love in spite of what happened to her. Once her burns heal, she’ll be a completely normal dog with no real special needs except that some burn patches on her back may not grow back fur so she’ll be susceptible to sun burn and will need a light coat covering when she’s outside. She’ll be spayed as soon as her burns are more healed, and she’ll be ready for adoption after that, but she’s available for meetings with potential adopters in the meantime. She’s currently in North Hollywood. If you’d like to request an adoption application and set up a meeting with this gentle lovebug, please email hollywoodhuskiesrescue@gmail.com or text Heather at 310-467-8116.
This amazing dog is one of the sweetest we’ve ever rescued. Please consider giving this great girl a forever home!
