Meet Jewel/Kona! She’s a real gem, and pretty much a perfect husky for anyone looking for this breed. She’s only about 1 year old, and she is a smaller sized husky about 40 pounds. In addition to her stunning looks and gorgeous blue eyes, she’s super well behaved, great around all people, likes all other dogs and is very easy — she doesn’t have a lot of the challenging traits that huskies often have — including she doesn’t try to escape, she doesn’t dig or climb, etc. Her owners had to move and couldn’t keep her, so they abandoned her at the shelter and she ended up on death row because of overcrowding at the shelter. She’s super sweet and happy to have found her forever home!
